Here’s the result of my first customer at Alex’s Exquisite Pony Salon. I figured Fluttershy’s styling would be pretty simple, and I think I did pretty well for a first try! The upper half of her mane, which makes her peek-a-bangs, is still a little stubborn and trying to flip back over to the other side of the face, which was how it was packaged. I could probably stand to re-wet her hair and use the dryer longer.

My next task for the ponies is to style their hair so its closer to being actually on-model. I brushed them all out with this comb here, so they’re already looking better, but they need some additional curling and/or straightening. I’m going to take these with me to ConnectiCon next weekend to lure people to my artist alley table. (And also to have something to play with when we get bored. XD)
I’m irritated at the way Pinkie and Fluttershy were packaged, because if I could magically put Pinkie’s mane on Fluttershy, it would be pretty much perfect. Why’d they twist up Fluttershy’s mane so much? T_T
