#mugtober day 16: Caf-Fiends
This was a parting gift after Connecticon 2009, when I got to hang out with a bunch of folks and play Rock Band after the con afterparty. It’s from Blondie and Kevin, from their webcomic Caf-Fiends which as you can guess, is about coffee and monsters. :D they were very kind to me, and that evening was the beginning of a lot of friendships with other webcomics folks that I still have today.

This belongs to a pair of mugs, and they’re just adorable. The date on the bottom say 2006, but this had to be the summer collection of 07 or 08. I’ve actually still got a lot of pieces from this collection– drinking glasses, stir sticks, and so on.

This is from my brief stint at B&N during the holiday season of 2006. The background of the cup is more of a chartreuse than the bright green I ended up with– the softness of this paper makes color mixing a challenge.
