This commission was for a friend of mine! She runs the Facebook page for Space Bat Day, which is March 15th, and is a day for honoring your big dream and taking a step towards making it happen. 
The illustration is based on the story of the bat that was seen clinging to the fuel tank during the launch of Discovery in 2009.

This was commissioned by the author of the web serial Wonder City Stories. Tinkermel was decribed to me as a “big hot gay leather daddy sparklebutch”. And I was all about that. I had a lot of fun with this one. XD

Having seen enough skinny white Lucy fanarts already, I decided to do my take on her. :) I like her with stocky minifig proportions.
If you haven’t seen it, the Lego Movie was great. Very cute, and had me laughing a whole lot.
