I am currently seeking collaborators for some upcoming projects! At least two are definite with the potential of more to follow, so Iām hoping not just to find immediate help, but start a file for future reference.
This concerns some short stories Iāve written, ranging from 5-15 pages in length each. Pay is dependent on the publicationās rates, which are generally in the indie anthology realm. Those rates are admittedly not great, but I do my best to make it worth my collaboratorsā time by favoring them when splitting the upfront rate and sharing rights, royalties, comps, etc. Itās all negotiable, I have huge respect for artists and would never expect anything that isnāt worth your time. And, of course, you will always be credited with enthusiasm!
ā Ā Artists: I am interested in hearing from artists who produce finished pages.
ā Ā Inkers: Iād also like to hear from inkers who would be willing to ink pages I have pencilled. I will pay for a sample page to see how our styles jive if Iām interested in working with you.
ā Flatters: Iāve been working with someone really great lately, but if youāre a flatter, Iām interested in keeping you on my list in case a spot opens up!
Please email me a link to your portfolio (or a couple reasonably sized attachments, no zips) at sarah@swinsea.com. If your website doesnāt have one, also give me a quick summary of who you are, where youāre from, and what sort of work youāve done.Ā Thanks!
Edit: Shameless plugging of Twitter testimonies from past/current collaborators!
