Some warmup doodles from this morning. The top two are some ideas I’m considering for art to go on a new banner for my Artist Alley table. The bottom three are Sami, Hannah, and Andrea from The Hues.

I just gotta say, you’re awesome! I especially like your outfit of the day thing, which I don’t know if you update anymore. I also like your webcomic, it cracks me up and I love how you draw yourself. Now I’m going to go finish looking at everythingyouveeverdrawn.

Thank youuuuuuu!

I’m still working on OOTDs, I just have fewer opportunities to dress cutely these days.  I’ve got one I drew over the summer after I went to a wedding that I really need to finish, and a couple more outfits from parties from the last few months I can draw, so I’ll be getting those done eventually!

Here’s something from the Thing I Drew Today:  Friday’s comic, and the first comic in 2012.

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to draw something every day and post it online, and I’m definitely counting my comic updates in that so I don’t get frustrated.  Two down, 364 to go.

Did an art meme for the year.  I noticed that I was kind of stop-and-go with my art this year.  Some months, I only did a few things, which made it easier to choose for those parts of the meme, but other months I did a bunch of art all at once.  But I think it summarizes my year fairly well anyway.

So against my better judgement, I watched some Adventure Time.  Lumpy Space Princess is like my favorite thing ever.  And I love how, from what I’ve heard, the fandom loves her too.

So I made a drawing of a LSP-inspired outfit/found-item cosplay.  Purple happens to be my favorite color, so I’ve got plenty of it in my closet.  I imagine a human LSP to be similar in personality to April on Parks and Recreation, so that’s who I’d be channeling if I actually did this.

So that’s Lumpy Space Alex. :B

Oh, and this is the first thing I’ve drawn in 2012! o/

I posted this to a thread in r/TwoXChromosomes about a girl the poster knew who was being fat shaming about prom dresses (tw: fat hate, bullying) and I thought I’d post it here, too.

I was a fat teen, and this is what I wore to prom.  I was probably around a size 18 at this time, and I got the dress at DEB.
