yesterday me and another girl were explaining that most americans don’t have kettles in their kitchens to a british woman who runs a tea shop and she said “well how do you make your tea, then?” and the other girl admitted that she mostly uses the microwave and the woman clutched her hand over her heart and sat down in shock
Barbarians.
This is what my SO and his parents do (we’re Americans) and I had a similar reaction.

I made shaken iced tea just now, for the first time in AAAAAAGES, so I thought I’d share my very cool Ursula drinking glass. :D
I got the glass from Target awhile back when I still worked there. (And actually I have two, because when you love something you buy two before it disappears forever.) The stir stick is from a set I got at Starbucks, also when I worked there. I put them in my drinks when I want to feel extra fancy.
Basically all my possessions are relics of places I used to work. ._.
