I do stretches every day before I start arting, but about a week ago, I started adding these stretches to my regimen. I was having some problems with the tip of my thumb going numb, most of which were fixed when I redid my workspace to make it mroe ergonomic, but these stretches have been helping a lot too on a day to day basis. :)

OF COURSE I experience a new vigor and burst of creative productivity and my RSI flares up. Using the rubber grip on my stylus has helped with my hand fatigue, but I’ve still got a bad case of “tablet thumb”. I know I just need to rest. BUT I GOT SHIT TO DO.

I put one of those triangular rubber grippy things on my stylus. (Like the ones from elementary school which are supposed to help you hold a pencil correctly.) Oh my god it’s so much more comfortable.
The tip of my thumb has been going numb off and on for the last week, hopefully this will help. ^_^;;

Every artist who sees this post should do the following:
– Watch the video.
– Follow the instructions
– Reblog
I can’t stress you enough about how important these exercises are for your drawing hand. You don’t wanna get CTS of Tendonitis and similar stuff that will prevent you from making art or even hold a pencil.
