OKAY. So I typed in the seed “Rarity the Unicorn,” and despite not generating a world made of diamonds, gold, lapis, and pink sheep, I managed to find a cool place to build my first settlement. What you see here is a ravine I found with an abandoned mineshaft inside it, which I plundered for some raw materials. (And I found a chest with bread and iron in it!) The area around it is very mountainous, but there’s a swamp nearby as well. Still hoping to find a taiga sometime.
I crossed a desert on my way to finding this place, and I had hoped to find a village and score some wheat, but to no avail. All the villages I’ve found in other games have been in deserts, weirdly. Is that just my weird luck?

LMAO that little girl is basically me every time I play on anything but “Peaceful” mode. Those of you who watched me play “easy” mode in the abandoned mineshaft tonight have witness a rather embarrassing, shrieky side of me.
Meeeee too. When I first started playing Minecraft earlier this year, I would often only have time to do so before bed, and going up against the monsters would give me panic attacks! Not a good way to get relaxed and ready to go to sleep. So I switched to Peaceful after a few days of that nonsense. Haven’t looked back! A creeper looming out of the fog on tiny rendering distance is a terrifying thing. Brr.
If I need some monster-specific item, I just build a grinder. ^_^;;

And now for my favorite Minecraft/My Little Pony crossover I have ever drawn (which is to say, the only one) we have My Little Creeper: Friendship is Tragic!
Chris and I came up with some alternate lyrics for the theme song (I used to wonder what friendship could be/Until you all made it tragic for me… …Explosions make it all complete!) but alas, we weren’t able to rewrite the whole thing.
Sold this for five dolla. :D
