I enjoy their shenanigans on the Mindcrack server (and elsewhere, like the Super Hostile maps they’ve played) and they always crack my shit up. I didn’t know until recently that Vechs is, in fact, over 6 feet tall (while Aurey is 5’4’ish) so I couldn’t resist drawing this with the height disparity in mind.

Here’s the art for the “Don’t Be a Creeper” t-shirts I made awhile back. I ordered two fairly small runs and let them sell out, since I wasn’t sure how long Minecraft would still be in vogue, at the time. It seems like the community is still going strong, and will probably be around for awhile, so I might rework the design a little bit and reprint them sometime.
It warms my little heart when I see someone at a con wearing it. :) Which happens like… very seldomly, since only about 50 of these shirts exist. BUT STILL.

Hey everyone, I’m going to be in the artist alley at Youmacon this weekend! I’m trying something new at this convention, and I’m going to be pushing my on-site commissions more than usual. I’ll be drawing on this 5.5 x 8.5 inch color cardstock with ink, pencils, and colored pencils.
Black and White will be $15.
Color will be $25.
I drew up these four samples to get me started! Wish me luck, come say hello if you’ll be there. :D

Finally some pics of the custom Steve? Mighty Mugg I painted last year. I tried selling him at Matsuricon, but there were no takers. If anyone is interested in him, you can send me an email at alexheberling@gmail.com. Asking $50, plus a little for shipping to wherever you are.
He is hand painted with acrylics and sealed with a matte spray sealer. His head turns and his arms are poseable. Hands have slots for tiny tools.

Apparently all I needed to do was update my client.
I busied myself with making a mushroom house, then an adjacent mushroom forest. Since there are only two colors of natural mushrooms, I got a little creative with the colored wool and built my own…. XD
