I have! I’m really loving pretty much everyone so far. Stephanie Sheh’s Usagi really grew on me, and all the villans so far have been 100% on point. I’m a fan of Patrick Seitz (Kunzite) anyway, and I just love him so much adfhjskhfjk.
The only voice I’m not really feeling is actually Ami. Her voice is, pitch-wise, very similar to Usagi’s, and her delivery is lacking something that I can’t quite articulate, so she’s falling kind of flat for me. I look forward to the second half of the season, so I hope she changes my mind. :B
Overally, having lived through the 90s dub, it’s REALLY WEIRD to finally hear these characters speaking English again, but NOT hearing “Serena, Molly, Melvin,” etc., in the dialogue.
