Let me show you something I recently found :Ā Croquis Cafe!
You get to see models of different colors and shapes in a life drawing setting. They move and breath while posing (breathing like in real life :O) ambient music is playing in the background and you have 1, 2 Ā and 5 minute sessions. I find it very helpful , you should try it.
FPA Moderators Megan Rose Gedris and Alex Heberling will be at Penguicon in Dearborn, Michigan on Saturday, April 28th, giving a talk called āComics and the Human Body.ā Comics are notorious for some pretty atrocious art when it comes to body types, but thatās just the surface, and thereās a wide range of creators drawing a wide range of body types. Come hear us talk about the very very good and the very very bad when it comes to bodies in comics. Weāll also be doing some quick tutorials on some different body types.
