I bought and paid for a second phone line at my parents’ so I could go online safetly. I also got a domain name for a couple years, pointing to my GeoCities page that had a black background, rainbow text, and animated GIFS.
My first internet search was on my neighbors’ computer, with AOL, and I searched for Hanson.
