Been wishlisting stuff for Prime Day- when Amazon’s having their massive sale day.  Figured it might be a good time to get some “for the business stuff”- mailing tubes, printable sticker paper.. .maybe button-making supplies.  The more stuff I can make at home and put in my storenvy/etsy shops- the more profit I can get from them (and faster).

.

But damn son, Button-makers are fucking expensive- and my bet is that only stuff that’s ELIGIBLE for prime is gonna be part of this sale- and none of the button makers i found on amazon are.

.

Does anyone have rec’s for button makers?  And is a 1″ maker pretty standard- and a decent size for selling on your own?  I don’t even know.  I’m mostly looking for ways to crank stuff out at home and sell in my personal shops as opposed to the high-markup required to make any kind of dough off of them on cafepress or zazzle…

Alex’s Guide to Buttons to the rescue!

I’m still using my BAM hand-press (1-1/4″) after many many years.  HOWEVER, the type of press I have is very hard on hands.  I would strongly recommend going with a button maker that sits on a tabletop to save your hands some strain.

Some brands other artists have recommended is Tecre and All-American.
