Yesterday on reddit, there was a question in AskReddit about “What would $1000 mean to you?"  A lot of the answers were "pay down some debt,” “x months of rent,” and the like.  For me, when I gave it some thought, it’s either 4 months of rent, or something really cool for my business.  Probably a bitchin’ new computer, or maybe even a Cintiq.

So then I went on Wacom’s website to drool over Cintiqs and I watched this product video.  Dammit, this is like porn.  I’m actually drooling a little.

Looking back, Lori Beth is a big inspiration to me now that I’ve found fat acceptance.  I was a rabid fan of All That in its glory days, and to make it even better, here was this girl on the show who actually looked like me.  She was on another show on the CW when the CW was still a thing, and also got a small role in Dodgeball as a fat cheerleader.  According to her IMDB page, in recent years she has started to go by L.B. Denberg. I hope to continue seeing her pop up now and then in Hollywood!

I walked into a nearby Avenue last month to find just about the entire store was in Winter Clearance Mode. I got hearts in my eyes.

I bought these shorts on a whim and was surprised at how short they were on me.  Still, body acceptance is about pushing one’s comfort zones, so I wore them several times.  I would look down and see legs as far as the eye could see.  This t-shirt is incredible, and one of my favorites.  It’s actually made of a slightly thicker material than regular t-shirts, so I wear it pretty much year-round.

I’ve actually had this drawn and inked for months, but since the t-shirt has such a detailed design, I didn’t get a chance to sit down with it and make sure I drew it accurately.

My bridesmaid’s dress from my sister’s wedding.

Dress: David’s Bridal sz. 18 (I think; this is when I was a slightly smaller fat)
Jewelry: don’t remember… maybe Claire’s?
Shoes: Invisible, but I’m wearing the white ballet flats from this OOTD.

Damn, I loved the hell out of that dress.  I replicated it as best I could with the greens I had, but the wedding colors were sage and silver, so my dress was a more muted, cool green called “celadon."  Here’s a color-adjusted version that’s a bit closer:

I didn’t want to overwork the coloring too much, otherwise I might’ve attempted to replicate these colors on the actual paper.  The brighter version really does convey the beauty of the dress effectively, as well as makes me look like the Frog Princess!
