So my family went to serve lunch at the homeless shelter today, and I burned my thumb pretty badly early on in the cooking stage.  (The oven mitt I grabbed had a GIANT HOLE in the thumb that I discovered trying to move the griddle.)  All we had to cool it was a couple bottles of chilled Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash, which has dyed my thumb a lovely shade of red.

I have a red thumb.

I’m so tempted to replace my Birthday Bash dress with my correct size.  I could probably sell my current one to recoup some of the cost, it’s just in need of a couple repairs.  (The bow came off after a raucous night of clubbing and it should probably be cleaned.)

Could be my Christmas gift to myself? oxo
