Movie Bastard: Ruining movies with a social conscience

I found this blog via a womens’ comics group I attend!  It’s my new favorite thing.

I was watching a standup special from 2002 the other day, and a little while in the comedian started insulting Arabs, or “Talibans” as he called them. I was disappointed, because I was enjoying it up to that point, but the Netflix description only warned me of “foul language,” about which I do not give a fuck. Racism and prejudice are way worse, in my opinion. The MPAA does not warn you of that, so I decided to create this blog.

the printer ink one is a lie and does not and will not work, for some printers like HP if you remove and reinsert the cart it will think it is full

for others like EPSON and lexmark it will not work and there is a chip on the cart that requires reflashing

Every time I see this I feel stupid, because I do not for the LIFE of me understand the steak one?!  like… what??

The muscle at the base of your thumb!  Touching your thumb to the other fingers on your hand makes that muscle contract more, similar to the firmness of a steak at various cooking times. :)  So if you want a medium-rare steak, you touch your thumb and index finger together, and feel that muscle, and you can then poke your steak as it cooks, and when it gets to the same firmness, it’s cooked long enough.
