Been using commissions as a chance to practice inking. I’m pleased with my improvement so far. #arting

I’m not super close with my in-laws*, which means they often don’t know what to get me for Christmas and the like, which has led to some interesting gifting. Sometimes the random As Seen on TV gifts are silly and/or weird, but this year I got a Stone Wave, and it’s actually pretty awesome. So far I’ve only used it to cook eggs, but it’s kind of remarkable that it can poach a single egg to the perfect runny consistency in just a minute. And it’s nice not to have to pull out the frying pan and wait for it to heat up and time it right with the toaster and blah blah blah first world problems.
Doesn’t hurt that it’s small and cute, either.
It came with a little recipe book and I will probably be trying more of them out in the future, but for now, this is how I’m cookin’ mah eggs. :B
* yeah okay, we’re not married, but I call my boyfriend’s parents the in-laws anyway, I DO WHAT I WANT.
