This piece is my take on a James Thurber cartoon from his autobiography, “My Life and Hard Times.” It’s appearing in a gallery exhibition during the month of June at Wild Goose Creative, along with pieces from lots of other local cartoonists who are also reinterpreting other Thurber cartoons. I wish there was a way to reorder tags with Xkit or something. I changed the tag I use for my art for tracked tag purposes, but not all my previously tagged posts had it in the first 5 tags, so it’s mostly my newest stuff in the tag.
A script (OR HEY HOW ABOUT CLICK AND DRAG TAGS TO REORDER THEM, TUMBLR) to reorder tags and retroactively make a specific tag be first would be cool.
I realized what a GREVIOUS ERROR I had made by not drawing a Mars yet! So she now joins the rest of the Sailor Team in my sketch card binder. :D
