So, much like MLP:FIM, we open with the lore of the show in the form of a bedtime story Miss Thing is telling to her little sister. Lil sis is like “fuck u” and checks out because she is clearly too old for bedtime stories, but Miss Thing is doing it anyway because their mom asked her to.
So lil sis goes to bed and next we cut to… Miss Thing fucking off outside? Where the fuck is she going??? SERIOUSLY I AM 99% SURE YOu ARE LEAVING YOUR LITTLE SISTER IN AN EMPTY FUCKING HOUSE but what do I know.
Anyway, child endangerment aside, Miss Thing demonstrates she’s the granddaughter from the bedtime story– her grandmother was one of 5 magic elves with Captain Planet’s rings elemental amulets, portal between worlds, blah blah.
She opens the portal in the woods and pops through like it’s no big thing. She does it all the time. Clearly. She pops out in Elfland then WHOOOOOPS SKEPTICAL LIL SIS FOLLOWED HERRRR
