Skeptical Lil Sis is clearly our Sokka analogue in this situation.
(The animation style and tone kind of resembles ATLA, not gonna deny it, so I will probably compare and contrast now and then.)
And the show does that thing where Miss Thing exited the portal and started casually walking away, then Sis comes through SECONDS later and Miss Thing is nowhere to be seen as Sis takes in the scenery even though she’d probably only be like 10 feet away and would have heard her and turned to see what the commotion was.
But. Kids show. Breathe. Okay, moving on.
Unfortunately, we only get as far as Sis going “OMGGGGGG???” before it cuts to Fire Elf doing Fire Things.
OKAY, Miss Thing’s name is Emily, who has just arrived in the elf village? or something. But then Sis doesn’t wait too long to join the scene, since she followed Emily. Somehow very quietly.
Emily: How did you get here?
Sis: Ummm you left the big glowy door open.
