This morning ITS ALL IN THE DETAILS!Â
The embroidered accents on this ca. 1821 wedding reception dress retain stunning color nearly 200 years later. The embroidery moves across the bottom of the dress in swags, and I imagine would be pretty fantasic to see moving on the dance floor. Â The dress itself probably would have been a fine sheer white which has colored to a gray with age.Â

PHOTOGRAPHY: Expired L.A. by Vicky Moon
“I wanted to shoot at night because I feel that L.A. changes drastically from night to day. There’s this quietness that L.A. has when it’s dark that is really nice,” photographer Vicky Moon says. “It’s like you can finally have a conversation with the city without having to shout.”
