Just the SCALE of the mothership in this movie astounds me. I love this shot of the satellite as it approaches, moves past the camera, then on towards the ship, and all the time, you’re thinking “MAN how far away is it going to get?" Then it disappears into the shadow, and STILL a few seconds later, there’s a teeny tiny fireball as it crashes into the hull.
