271 Years Before Pantone, an Artist Mixed and Described Every Color Imaginable in an 800-Page Book
In 1692 an artist known only as āA. Boogertā sat down to write a book in Dutch about mixing watercolors. Not only would he begin the book with a bit about the use of color in painting, but would go on to explain how to create certain hues and change the tone by adding one, two, or three parts of water. The premise sounds simple enough, but the final product is almost unfathomable in its detail and scope.

In between other things, I’m trying to design a new series of Body Love Buttons to have at Wiscon.Ā I decided on a pixel art theme this time!
This is the first one I’ve finished.Ā Will be round in button form, but works nicely on its own as well.

What was your favorite level in Portal 2? How did you feel about Wheatley’s transistion into villain?
I think my favorite puzzle is Test Chamber 10 (in Chapter 3), but any puzzle with Aerial Faith Plates are my favorites.Ā I think they’re super fun.
My favorite storyline part was Wheatley’s turn to villain!Ā In no small part due to Stephen Merchant’s acting.Ā The moment his elated laughter slowly turned into a maniacal cackle was so well done.Ā That moment gave me awesome chills in my first playthrough, like SHIT JUST GOT REAL OH NOOOO. :D
These are my favorite games and I’m a little sad that I didn’t get into them until over a year after the second one was released, but I love talking about them and replaying them and participating in the fandom here and there with some fanart.
