Cleaning out my filing cabinet, I found this handout that I made for my mini-comics class.  Hope it’s helpful!  Remember, it ain’t only for comics.  Self-publish short stories, collections of drawings or sketches, or blank for journals/sketchbooks, etc.

Wow, this reminds me of the good ol’ dayd of making minicomics at SCAD… fun times. I wanna do this again.

Why do people dislike my character on “Breaking Bad”?

THE ACTRESS EFFING WROTE AN ARTICLE ABOUT PEOPLE HATING SKYLAR WHITE FOR BEING MULTI-LAYERED AND BELIEVABLY UPSET AND PROTECTIVE OF HER KIDS AND TRYING TO DO THE BEST SHE CAN WHILE WALTER JUST SPIRALS INTO CRAZY VIA HIS EGO AND NEED FOR POWER. 

ALSO, WHO IS GIVING ANNA GUNN HATE FOR PLAYING A CHARACTER ON TELEVISION. 

“Vince Gilligan, the creator of “Breaking Bad,” wanted Skyler to be a woman with a backbone of steel who would stand up to whatever came her way, who wouldn’t just collapse in the corner or wring her hands in despair. He and the show’s writers made Skyler multilayered and, in her own way, morally compromised. But at the end of the day, she hasn’t been judged by the same set of standards as Walter.”

“But I finally realized that most people’s hatred of Skyler had little to do with me and a lot to do with their own perception of women and wives. Because Skyler didn’t conform to a comfortable ideal of the archetypical female, she had become a kind of Rorschach test for society, a measure of our attitudes toward gender.”

He trailed off. Something seemed to be pressing on his mind- his optic turned floorwards, squinted, peered up sideways at her, managing to convey an incredible amount of guilt for something that was basically just a metal sphere with an eye in it.

“Can I just say, before we go any further, that I’m… I’m really sorry. For everything. I’m sorry I was such a, a monster, I’m sorry I was so demanding and pushy and… er, well, murderous. To you. I was wrong, you were right, I never should have tried to run the place by myself, and I… well, I’m just…”

He paused, searched for a better, sharper, smoother, more convincing way of putting it. Gave up.

“…sorry.”

Blue Sky, chapter 2

I drew a thing awhile back and just got it scanned.  I’m a doof and forgot about the Long-Fall Boots, so that’s why Chell’s wearing regular boots.
