My hands have always been a bit shaky, but lately I’ve noticed that even with the stylus held completely still, I get cursor jitters. So, since I pride myself on my nice lines, I decided to find something to fix that.

LazyNezumi is a noise/interference reduction and smoothing tool that works with most Wacom tablets, and can be bound to nearly all drawing software. It doesn’t stop the jitters, but it predicts the amount of noise behind them and smooths your lines to match. I’ve tested it here in Photoshop CS6, and it works frigging wonders.

If you have this problem, I suggest you go download it. It’s simple and elegant as heck, and it makes your lines as smooth as buttered silk.

so, like, the stabilizer in SAI only ALL THE TIME.

Awesome for those of us with tinier/lower DPI tablets. GET ON IT!

OH HELLO THERE, SAVIOR OF MY UNIVERSE. *hands shake into oblivion*

Whoa, this is quite handy.  I’m running Photoshop CS4 on Windows 7 64-bit, and it works for me.

I reduced the Radius setting to 10, and Smoothing 5, which is just about perfect for my typical zoom level.  I zoomed out a bit to ink a long line and I turned the smoothing up to about 12 for that part.

But, as Meglish above later pointed out, this is Windows-only.

I brewed up my first pot of Casi Cielo in probably… three or more years.

This coffee.  I just can’t.

This is like running into a friend of an ex after a couple years, and you really liked this friend a lot, but you lost touch with them after you and your ex broke up.

That is the feeling drinking this coffee is giving me.

Got my new glasses in the mail today.  This is new new pair!  Not quite as Full Hipster Power as my argyle frames, but a little more personality than my plain black wire frames.  I love the little painted designs on the temples.

My argyle glasses themselves started breaking at the hinges, so I replaced that pair as well. :)

Homestuck…stop.

I like Homestuck.

But now I’m seeing posts for, “Learn to Sign!”, “ASL Tutorial”, “Help for Signing”. I am not okay with this.

People cosplaying as Terezi and being “blind” are troubling enough to me to begin with. As a person who suffers from sight problems, and watching various family members struggle to prove disability for this, it’s hurtful to see people pretend to be blind, and have a “walking stick” that I could actually use, and that the government won’t grant me. Stop that.

As someone who’s been studying sign language since High School, I’m offended people just want to learn it for a cosplay. Learn it because you want to be a part of the deaf community. Learn it because you want to learn a language. Don’t learn it because it’s a trend, or betters your cosplay. Stop. That. Right. Now.
